Wooden Shield. An antique aneroid barometer made in Germany, mounted on a carved wooden shield with a decorative motif. It features a circular dial marked with weather conditions such as 'Rain' and 'Fair,' along with a brass-scale mechanism visible in the center. The back displays a metal cover with an embossed manufacturer's mark. Dimensions are approximately 8 inches tall and 3.5 inches wide. Minor wear is present, consistent with age.
