and Painted Decorations. Stoneware wine jugs of German origin. The larger jug features a painted map motif of the ‘Rheingau’ wine region and relief grapevine details. It has a 1L capacity marking. The smaller jug showcases a relief pattern of grapevines alongside German script, "Wein in froher Mund, Frohsinn zu jeder Stund." Both pieces exhibit typical signs of age and use with stamp markings on the base of the smaller jug, reading "Original Gerz W. Germany" with a number "2."
