Elegant silverplate serving collection featuring a large ornately decorated serving tray measuring approximately 29" L x 18" W, raised on four triangular pedestal feet with elaborate scrollwork handles and embossed detailing. Also included are two matching teapots, two sugar bowls (one with matching lid), one creamer, two candlesticks, and two silverplate cups with gilt-washed interiors. Makers represented in the lot include "F.B. Rogers", "Pilgrim", and "Sheridan Silver on Copper", all respected American manufacturers of quality silverplate. Pieces display traditional Colonial and Victorian-inspired styling and show expected tarnish, surface scratches, and age-related wear consistent with normal use, presenting buyers with the option to polish for brighter display or preserve the vintage patina.
