Talavera Pottery Decorative Collection

Colorful collection of hand-painted Mexican Talavera pottery including a matching miniature pitcher and plate, two decorative lidded canisters, and a square trinket dish. The collection features traditional floral and foliate motifs executed in vibrant cobalt blue, green, yellow, terracotta, and cream glazes characteristic of Talavera and Tonalá folk art. The miniature pitcher is accompanied by its matching 6-inch diameter plate and measures approximately 4.5 inches tall by 5 inches wide at the widest point. One larger cylindrical canister with fitted lid is signed “Decorativo Tonalá, México” on the underside, while the smaller ginger jar-form canister is hand-signed “México” on the base. Also included is a hand-painted square trinket dish signed “Puth Mex.” on the underside, though the maker’s signature is not fully legible. All pieces are glazed earthenware and display coordinating artisan-painted decoration suitable for display or decorative household use.
