Vintage JAX Model 230 Auto-Rhythm electronic rhythm unit featuring a selection of preset accompaniment patterns including March, Ball Room, Swing, Jazz, Waltz, Fox Trot, Slow Rock, Teen, Tango, Bossa Nova, Samba, Mambo, Cha Cha, and Rhumba. Controls include tempo, volume, sustain, balance, and rhythm variation, allowing users to customize the sound for practice sessions, home organs, electric pianos, and vintage keyboards. The rear panel includes multiple output connections for integration with compatible musical equipment. This rhythm box dates to the late 1960s or early 1970s and represents an early generation of standalone electronic rhythm machines. It shows cosmetic wear, scratches, and age-related finish loss consistent with decades of use. Tested and turns on.
