Pair of signed Rene Heras Southwestern studio pottery vessels including a low-profile seed jar and a flared-neck vase. Both pieces are handcrafted from natural red clay with hand-burnished surfaces and decorated with black geometric designs inspired by traditional Pueblo pottery. Each is individually signed on the underside by the artist. René Heras is an acclaimed Mexican ceramic artist known for creating traditional, hand-coiled Mata Ortiz pottery. His work belongs to the broader Casas Grandes / Paquimé ceramic revival tradition rooted in Chihuahua, Mexico. The larger vase measures approximately 4 inches tall by 4 inches in diameter, while the smaller seed jar measures approximately 3 inches tall by 4 inches in diameter.
