Unique collection of three handcrafted Southwestern clay lizard sculptures by regional artisans, including two pieces from Frontier Studios of Tucson, Arizona. These whimsical ceramic reptiles showcase the rustic charm and folk art style that has made Southwestern pottery and desert-themed décor popular with collectors throughout the Southwest. The largest lizard measures approximately 17" long x 10.5" wide x 6" tall and is signed "Crooks," copyright 1997, and marked Frontier Studios, Tucson, Arizona. This substantial piece features expressive sculptural details and makes an impressive display for a patio, garden room, or Southwestern interior. Condition note: The right rear foot has been cracked and repaired, and the right front shoulder has also been repaired. Both repairs are visible upon close inspection. Please review photographs carefully. The medium lizard measures approximately 13" long x 8" wide x 2" tall and includes a built-in hanging hook for wall display. It is marked "Mexico," indicating Mexican craftsmanship and making it ideal for adding colorful Southwest or rustic décor to an indoor or outdoor setting. The smallest lizard measures approximately 7" long x 3.5" wide x 2.5" tall and is also marked Frontier Studios, Tucson, Arizona, making it a wonderful companion piece to the larger signed sculpture.
