This is a large lot of vintage automotive magazines made up of Hot Rod and Motor Life titles from roughly the late 1950s and early 1960s, along with one earlier Hot Rod issue dated August 1950. Hot Rod was the leading American hot rodding and drag racing magazine and Motor Life covered new car road tests, customs, and styling, so the covers feature period Chevrolet, Ford, Pontiac, Corvette, and Edsel content that appeals to car collectors and automotive history fans. There are roughly two dozen issues shown in the photos, and buyers should count from the pictures. Condition is fair to good for their age with reading wear, edge and corner wear, some cover creasing, and light soiling typical of stored magazines from this period. Single desirable 1950s issues often sell in the eight to twenty dollar range, and grouped lots like this bring less per copy. Estimated Value: $75 to $150 based on comparable recent sales. Sold as-is. Photos are the most accurate description of this lot. Written descriptions are a guide only and may contain errors. Please review all photos before bidding.
