This is an olive drab ALICE style military rucksack with an external metal frame, a padded shoulder harness, and a waist belt. ALICE stands for All-purpose Lightweight Individual Carrying Equipment, the load carrying system used by the US military for decades. A sewn-in tag reads ALICE Pack made by Akmax and FashionOutdoor, which is a commercial reproduction of the surplus design rather than issued government surplus. The tag lists a capacity over 2000 cubic inches, dimensions of about 21 by 14 by 6.5 inches, three front pockets, and high density nylon fabric in olive drab. The pack and frame look new and unused with clean fabric, working buckles, and no visible tears. New examples of this large Akmax ALICE pack with frame commonly sell in the range of seventy to ninety dollars. Estimated Value: $40 to $75 based on comparable recent sales. Sold as-is.
