This is a Lincoln Electric AC-225-S arc welder, also known as the AC 225 Lincwelder and often called the tombstone welder because of its shape. It is a single phase 230 volt stick welder rated up to 225 amps and made in the USA in Cleveland, Ohio. It is a long running and popular model known for being simple and dependable for farm, shop, and home stick welding. The unit includes the welding cables, a ground clamp, and an electrode holder. Condition is heavily used with scuffs, chips, and surface rust, and the electrode holder handle is wrapped in tape. Working condition has not been tested and it is sold as-is. Used AC-225 welders in working order commonly sell in the 150 to 300 dollar range, with rougher examples bringing less. Estimated Value: $125 to $200 based on comparable recent sales. Sold as-is.
