Attractive antique hinged jewelry box measuring approximately 5" x 8". Soft-sided, rounded rectangular form covered in black textured leatherette with a subtle embossed grain. Features an ornate gilt-metal clasp with scrolling design and a central red cabochon accent. The interior is fully lined in rich red velvet and includes a small rectangular mirror set into the lid within a gilt frame. The base offers a single open compartment, ideal for rings, earrings, or other small treasures. Matching gilt hardware completes the classic presentation.Shows expected light surface wear and age-related patina to the exterior, consistent with its age, while the interior remains vibrant and well-preserved.
