Vintage Millers Falls Tools 1/2-inch heavy-duty electric drill rated at 500 RPM, 115 volts, and 5.5 amps. This vintage Millers Falls drill has been tested and runs. It shows heavy wear from age, use, and storage, including scratches, dings, dents, finish loss, grime, oxidation, and patina throughout. The original power cord is deteriorated and is not considered safe for continued use. A replacement power cord is included but has not been installed. Replacement of the cord and any subsequent operation should be performed at the buyer's discretion and responsibility. Please review all photographs carefully for the complete condition. The drill features a 1/2-inch keyed chuck, rear spade handle, pistol-grip handle, and an iron pipe installed in the upper auxiliary handle location for additional leverage. The identification plate remains readable enough to show 115 volts, 5.5 amps, 1/2-inch capacity, and 500 RPM no-load. The model number is worn and could not be verified. Believed to date from approximately the 1940s to 1950s, this substantial Millers Falls drill represents the rugged industrial electric tools built in Greenfield, Massachusetts. A great candidate for restoration, continued shop use after proper repair, or addition to a collection of vintage power tools, woodworking tools, industrial equipment, or Americana workshop memorabilia.
