The bottle shows normal wear from age and use, including scratches, scuffs, factory-made glass imperfections, and mineral deposits or residue on the interior and exterior. No chips or cracks were observed. Measures approximately 9 1/2 inches tall. Please review all photographs carefully for the complete condition. Pre-Prohibition Amber Beer Bottle - Embossed Berghoff Brewery, Fort Wayne, Indiana - Applied Blob Top - Root Glass Company Embossed "Berghoff / Fort Wayne / Ind." on the front with a "ROOT" maker's mark on the base. This antique amber beer bottle features an applied blob top and was manufactured by Root Glass Company. The combination of the applied finish, Root Glass manufacture, and Berghoff's Fort Wayne brewery places it in the early 1900s, prior to Indiana Prohibition. An excellent piece of breweriana for collectors of antique beer bottles, pre-Prohibition glass, Indiana breweries, Fort Wayne advertising, embossed bottles, Root Glass Company, and early American brewery memorabilia.
