Vintage Great Falls Select Beer 12-fluid-ounce flat-top can from Great Falls Breweries Inc. of Great Falls, Montana. The can has been opened from the top with two triangular punctures. Condition includes surface scratches, scattered oxidation and rust, staining, finish loss, discoloration, and wear along the rims and seam. A faded handwritten price or inventory marking is present on the bottom. Please review all photographs closely for the complete condition. Collector references identify this variation as USBC 74-26, a Great Falls Select flat-top can generally dated to the 1960s, with some references listing it as circa 1962. This variation was manufactured by Continental Can Company and is identified by collectors as lacking an alcohol-content statement. Great Falls Breweries ceased operations in 1968, placing production of this can no later than the late 1960s.
