Vintage 1982 USGI Military Aluminum Mess Kit Authentic vintage United States GI military individual field mess kit features a classic two-piece nesting design crafted from lightweight aluminum. Measuring approximately 8.5 inches long, the oval-shaped camping set consists of a deep frying pan base and a dual-compartment divided tray lid that doubles as a plate. The long folding metal handle securely locks the unit flush together for compact storage and features stamped identification markings reading "U.S. SMP 18789-1982" alongside the official contract number "DLA 400-82-C-1012".
