This is a premium, USA-made Paul Reed Smith (PRS) Singlecut Tremolo electric guitar styled in a striking Blue Matteo finish.It marks a significant era in PRS history, initially built between 2000 and 2007. Production of the Singlecut line briefly paused due to the infamous, highly publicized trademark lawsuit filed by Gibson, making early runs and their subsequent return variations highly collectible among enthusiasts.The premium hardware layout features a carved figured maple top joined to a solid mahogany back, an integrated non-locking PRS patented tremolo system, a 22-fret rosewood fretboard, and classic Abalone Bird fretboard inlays.This specific instrument has been upgraded with aftermarket open-coil Zebra humbucking pickups (featuring one cream and one black bobbin per pickup) instead of the standard solid nickel-covered factory pickups.
