Gibson Firebird V, a classic "reverse" body electric guitar initially designed by automotive stylist Ray Dietrich. This specific model is finished in Vintage Sunburst (or Tobacco Sunburst) and displays several defining characteristics of the "Standard" level Firebird V appointments. Body & Neck: It utilizes a labor-intensive nine-ply mahogany/walnut neck-through-body construction, which is visible through the center of the body.Electronics: Equipped with two Alnico V mini-humbuckers, controlled by a three-way toggle switch and four knobs (two volume, two tone).Hardware: Features traditional banjo-style tuning machines on a reversed headstock and a Tune-o-matic bridge with a stop bar tailpiece.Aesthetics: A white three-ply pickguard with a hot-stamped red Firebird logo and rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid inlays. Believe it is a 2002 model. Serial number 00652537. Comes in hard case.
