The "Stickpin" Inlay: The mother-of-pearl design in the center of the peghead is traditionally referred to by collectors as the "stickpin" or "dagger" inlay. This specific design appeared on Epiphone's mid-to-lower tier archtops (like the Blackstone and Zenith) during the 1930s and 1940s.Script Logo: The elegant cursive "Epiphone" script logo is consistent with the company's pre-Gibson styling, before production moved to Kalamazoo in the late 1950s.Parallelogram Inlays: The fingerboard markers are classic split-parallelogram inlays, which Epiphone phased into the Blackstone line beginning in 1935 to replace earlier dot markers.
