The malachite lends its characteristic colour and subtle shimmer to the dense sandstone matrix, creating a striking contrast of texture and tone. This unique formation reflects the natural processes of mineral replacement and deposition, where copper-rich solutions infused the porous sandstone, crystallizing into layers of malachite over time.
