This lot features two vintage Guatemalan coins. The first coin is a 1/4 Quetzal dated 1926, displaying the national emblem with a quetzal bird perched on a scroll, surrounded by the inscription "REPUBLICA DE GUATEMALA." The reverse depicts a quetzal bird perched on a pillar with the denomination "1/4 QUETZAL" and the inscription "LEY DE 26 DE NOVIEMBRE DE 1924." The second coin is a 10 Centavos piece dated 1945, also featuring the national emblem and the "REPUBLICA DE GUATEMALA" text on one side, with an added "0.720" fineness mark. The reverse shows a quetzal perched on a pillar with the denomination "10 CENTAVOS" and the same "LEY DE 26 DE NOVIEMBRE DE 1924" inscription. Both coins exhibit visible signs of wear and surface patina consistent with age.
