This is the first electrifying issue of 'The New Adventures of Superboy,' published by DC Comics. The front cover art depicts Superboy, wearing his iconic blue suit with a red cape and 'S' shield, celebrating his 16th birthday. He is positioned in front of a large birthday cake adorned with numerous lit candles, holding a cake knife. Several other characters are shown around him, participating in the celebration, including a woman in a pink top with glasses holding a single lit candle towards him.
