A used DC Comics comic book, 'The Amazing New Adventures of Superman', issue number 237, published in May and originally priced at 15. The colorful cover art depicts Superman, seen from behind with his iconic red cape and yellow 'S' shield, facing a mob of green-skinned humanoid monsters. Several speech bubbles are visible on the cover: 'YOU'VE TURNED US INTO MONSTERS, SUPERMAN!', 'WE DON'T WANT YOU ON EARTH ANY MORE!', and 'GET OFF-- AND STAY OFF!'. A yellow banner in the bottom right corner reads 'SUPERMAN -- ENEMY OF EARTH!'. The comic shows signs of wear, including visible creasing on the cover and spine, discoloration, and some purple/pinkish staining along the bottom left edge. A partial number 'S 749' is visible vertically printed along the bottom edge of the cover.
