A vintage Sears Electric 12 portable electric typewriter, housed within its dark gray/brown hardshell carrying case. The typewriter features a black main body with an off-white/cream QWERTY keyboard and a brown decorative accent strip situated below the keys. A 'Sears' brand label is clearly visible in a red rectangular emblem above the keyboard. The metal carriage bar is marked 'ELECTRIC 12'. The keyboard includes various control keys such as 'LOCK', 'SHIFT', 'REPEAT', 'CLEAR', and 'M-R', along with numeric keys '1', '2', '3', and 'COPY'. A power cord is visible, connected to the typewriter. The hardshell case, featuring silver trim, has a dark gray/brown exterior, a black handle, and a latch with a keyhole, which is also marked 'SEARS'.
