Metal instruction plate for a J. D. Adams & Co. leaning wheel grader. One side of the plate features an illustration of the grader with the text, "He leans toward the load. So does the Adams adjustable leaning wheel grader. Trade mark registered U.S. Patent Office." The other side of the plate features instructions and reads, "Instructions. Lean wheels in direction dirt is being moved - but only enough to counteract the side pressure of the load against the mold board. Grease wheel hubs every day. Keep cutting edge sharp. Grease mold board when not in use to prevent rusting. J.D. Adams & CO. Indianapolis, Ind." The plate has four holes for mounting.
