(Denver Mint). First-year 2000-D Sacagawea Dollar, the debut of the modern Golden Dollar. Obverse features Sacagawea carrying Jean Baptiste, with LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and the D mint mark for Denver. Reverse shows a soaring eagle encircled by 17 stars, with UNITED STATES OF AMERICA – ONE DOLLAR and E PLURIBUS UNUM. Struck in manganese-brass cladding over a copper core, retaining its signature golden tone; plain edge, 26.5 mm diameter, 8.1 g weight. Honest circulated example with natural patina and clear devices—great for modern U.S. dollar sets or as a representative of the 2000–2008 Sacagawea type.
