Central Reserve Bank, Original Coins. Pair of original Peruvian coins issued by the Banco Central de Reserva del Perú, denominated Un Sol de Oro, dated 1966 and 1967. Obverse: Features the image of a llama, symbol of the Andean fauna and a national emblem of Peru. Denomination "UN SOL DE ORO" clearly inscribed. Reverse: Displays the official coat of arms of Peru with the legend “Banco Central de Reserva del Perú” encircling the design. Dates visible: 1966 and 1967. Composition: Bronze alloy, standard issue for circulation during the mid-20th century. Condition: Both coins show circulation wear, with patina and tone variations consistent with age, yet preserving good detail on both sides (see photos). Notes: These coins belong to one of the most recognized series of Peruvian Sol de Oro circulation coins. Their design with the llama is emblematic and highly appealing for collectors worldwide. Collectible Value: Coins from this period are increasingly sought after in the international numismatic market, particularly when paired as consecutive-year examples, as they represent the economic and cultural history of Peru. Their symbolic design and historical importance make them attractive pieces for world coin collections. Provenance: Private collection. Shipping: Worldwide shipping, carefully packed in protective holders to ensure preservation during transit.
