National Congress, Original Banknotes (Lot of 2). Pair of original Banco Central de Reserva del Perú banknotes of 50,000 Intis, dated June 28, 1988. Obverse: Portrait of Abraham Valdelomar, celebrated Peruvian writer and essayist, symbol of early 20th-century literature. National coat of arms at center. Serials: A5114231G and A3130558L. Reverse: Detailed engraving of the Congreso Nacional (National Congress of Peru), symbolizing democratic tradition and legislative power. Condition: Circulated, with light folds and signs of handling, yet overall well preserved with crisp details and strong colors (see photos). Both notes remain attractive examples for collectors. Notes: These high-denomination Intis are emblematic pieces from Peru’s period of hyperinflation, making them historically significant and increasingly sought after in the international paper money market.
