& Eagle – Cupronickel. Original 25 Pesetas from the Francisco Franco era. Obverse with Franco’s portrait and legend “FRANCISCO FRANCO CAUDILLO DE ESPAÑA POR LA G. DE DIOS – 1957.” Reverse shows the crowned coat of arms over the heraldic eagle with value “25 PTAS.” Spanish pieces of this type display 1957 on the obverse, while the actual minting year is indicated by the small digits inside the star on the reverse (collectors value that detail—worth photographing in close-up). Struck in cupronickel, solid, well-centered coin with honest circulation toning and fully readable legends—an essential type for mid-20th-century Spain and for completing star-year sets. Reference specs: ˜23 mm diameter and ˜7.8 g weight.
