Original Banknotes. Pair of original Banco Central de Reserva del Perú banknotes of 50 Intis, issued in 1986 and 1987. Obverse: Portrait of Manuel Pardo y Lavalle (1834–1878), President of Peru (1872–1876) and founder of the Civilista Party. National coat of arms at center. Serials: A1711292N (1987) & A5020161K (1986). Reverse: Industrial theme featuring oil workers on a drilling platform, symbolizing Peru’s economic modernization efforts during the 1980s. Condition: Both notes are in very well-preserved collectible condition, with strong coloration and crisp engravings. Graded VF to XF. Notes: These mid-denomination Inti banknotes represent a crucial chapter in Peru’s monetary history during the late 20th century, making them highly desirable for collectors of Latin American economic history.
