Piérola, Original Banknotes. Two original Banco Central de Reserva del Perú banknotes of 10 Intis, dated January 17, 1986 and June 26, 1987. Obverse: Portrait of Nicolás de Piérola, President of Peru in the 19th century, remembered for his reforms and leadership during challenging times. National coat of arms at center. Reverse: Rural scene with farmers cultivating the land, symbolizing Peru’s agricultural economy. Serials: A7856886G (1986) and A8158614P (1987). Condition: Very well preserved; crisp paper, vibrant colors, and minimal signs of handling (see photos). Overall excellent collectible condition. Notes: Early Intis issues like these are increasingly sought after, representing the transition period of Peru’s economy during the 1980s.
