Original Coin. Original 1 Inti coin issued by the Banco Central de Reserva del Perú in 1987. Obverse: Bust of Gran Almirante Miguel Grau, national naval hero known as the “Caballero de los Mares”, with inscription around: GRAN ALMIRANTE MIGUEL GRAU – UN INTI. Reverse: National Coat of Arms of Peru with legend BANCO CENTRAL DE RESERVA DEL PERÚ and year of issue 1987. Composition: Nickel-clad steel (official mint issue). Condition: Circulated, with signs of age and wear, yet details of portrait and shield remain clearly visible (see photos). Collectible condition. Notes: Coins featuring Miguel Grau are highly symbolic for Peruvian history and independence, making them increasingly sought after in the numismatic market. Their limited mintage during the Inti monetary reform era adds significant collectible interest. Provenance: Private collection. Shipping: Worldwide, safely packed and shipped in protective holders.
