Marine Type, Original Coins. Original coins issued by the Banco Central de Reserva del Perú, denomination 10 Soles de Oro, both dated 1969. Offered as a matched two-coin lot. Obverse (Type “Two Fish”): Legend DIEZ SOLES DE ORO – 10 with the iconic pair of stylized fish, a celebrated motif symbolizing Peru’s rich marine resources and coastal heritage. Reverse: Full Peruvian national coat of arms with legend BANCO CENTRAL DE RESERVA DEL PERU and date 1969. Type: Late Sol de Oro circulating issue; a classic transitional piece preceding the Inti era and prized for its bold modernist design. Condition: Circulated, with light contact marks and normal wear; details remain sharp and attractive with good eye appeal (see macro photos). Nicely preserved for the type and year. Collectability: Popular design and single-year date make this type a must for world-coin and Latin American sets.
