Original Banknotes. Two original Banco Central de Reserva del Perú banknotes of 5,000 Intis, both dated June 28, 1988. Obverse: Portrait of Miguel Grau Seminario, legendary admiral and national hero, honored for his bravery during the War of the Pacific. Reverse: Fishing industry scene with workers handling nets, with ships in the background, symbolizing Peru’s maritime heritage. Serials: A5265049V and A9823754V (as shown). Condition: Very well preserved; vibrant colors, minor handling folds, overall excellent collectible state (see photos). Notes: High-denomination notes from the Intis era are increasingly sought after in the international numismatic market, especially those featuring Peru’s most admired hero, Miguel Grau.
