This 23-inch marked large bisque head doll is possibly a collaboration between Simon Halbig and Handwerk? Has a stylized H and the number 1 on the back of the head. Remains mysterious. The head features sleep eyes with painted upper lashes, feathered brows, an open mouth with teeth, red painted lips, and a softly blushed complexion. The doll has a paired brown wig styled with a ribbon bow. The body is jointed at the neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, and knees, and is constructed of composition and wood with visible wear, light cracks, and scuffing typical of age. Paired original-style clothing includes a white dress with pale blue trims, undergarments, white stockings, and green ribboned shoes. Complete condition, including minor age-related wear on both body and clothing. **Shipping Notice: Due to the delicate nature of the doll's sleep eye mechanism, any shipped doll will arrive with the wig and skull cap removed, and the eyes secured to help minimize the risk of damage during transit. Please expect this if you require shipping. Because of the additional time and care required to prepare the doll for safe shipment, an additional handling fee may apply. These dolls are exceptionally fragile, and while we take the greatest care in packing and securing every item, shipping always carries an inherent risk. By requesting shipping, you acknowledge and accept the possibility of damage that may occur during transit.
