A substantial rectangular block of solid clear lead crystal from the Orrefors Gallery series designed by Sven Palmquist. The sculpture features deeply sculpted concave hemispherical lenses and faceted planes that create complex internal reflections and optical distortions. The underside is incised with the signature Orrefors 9658440 Sven Palmquist Gallery 82.Height: 9.25 inches. Width: 4.5 inches. Depth: 2.25 inches.Very good overall condition with no chips or cracks. Light surface scratches are present on the underside consistent with age and shelf wear.
