A matched pair of footed open salt cellars featuring flared bowls supported by short pedestal stems on stepped circular bases. Each cellar is constructed of silver-plated base metal and contains a removable cobalt blue glass liner with ground rims. The frames exhibit a simple, unadorned design without visible maker marks or hallmarks.Height: 1 7/8 inches (4.8 cm).The silver plating is in poor condition, showing significant wear and loss that exposes the underlying base metal on both the interior and exterior surfaces. Extensive tarnish, pitting, and green verdigris are present throughout the metal components. The cobalt blue glass liners remain intact but exhibit rough rims with minor flea-bite chips.
