This semi-porcelain pitcher by Knowles, Taylor & Knowles features a bulbous body and a heavily ruffled, scalloped rim. The vessel is finished in a cream glaze with a fine crackle pattern and decorated with hand-painted metallic gold foliate sprigs. An ornate scrolled handle with molded shell and leaf motifs completes the late 19th-century design.Height: 7 inches.The item shows overall fine crazing to the glaze with minor areas of light discoloration. A small chip is present on the interior edge of the scalloped rim near the spout.
