This work by Carol McGuire features several modernist figures executed in watercolor and ink on heavy-weight textured paper. The composition depicts stylized female nudes rendered with bold black outlines and monochromatic tan washes, inscribed with a reference to Gaudier-Brzeska. The sheet displays a deckle edge and is signed by the artist in the lower right and on the verso.14 x 11 inches (sheet); 16 x 20 inches (mat).The paper exhibits light overall toning and mat burn along the sightline of the image area. The artwork is secured to the window mat with masking tape on all four sides of the verso, and minor stray marks are visible on the reverse of the sheet.
