This lot includes two antique pieces that have been altered. The glass washboard has had letters forming "Country" glued to the glass on one side. The advertising on the back side is still legible (Cupples Company - St. Louis MO), and the glass is in great shape. Still a nice decorative piece. The Cheese box has a lovely painting on the lid and is signed by S. Tice. The box it in excellent condition and is marked on the bottom "Boxed by Dufeck's Denmark, WI 54208"
