This is a modern decorative/display (or presentation/charger) plate from the Fabergé Fine China "Imperial Egg Collection" series, specifically titled "The Lilies of the Valley Egg." Central transfer-printed polychrome design accurately reproducing the 1898 Lilies of the Valley Imperial Fabergé Egg: a pink guilloché-style egg topped with a gold imperial crown, surrounded by green stems and pink/white lily-of-the-valley blossoms with gold accents and pearl-like details. Backstamp includes: the Fabergé brand logo (three oval portrait medallions under a crown showing Czar Nicholas II and his daughters Olga and Tatiana), “FABERGÉ FINE CHINA,” the full title and historical note, and “MADE IN JAPAN / FABRIQUE AU JAPON.” It is executed in pink translucent enamel over guilloché gold, with lily-of-the-valley flowers formed from pearls, rose-cut diamonds, rubies, and green enamel leaves on gold stems; the surprise mechanism reveals miniature portraits of Nicholas II, Olga, and Tatiana. It is one of the earliest Art Nouveau-style imperial eggs. Age:1990s-2000 Size: 12" Condition: Excellent, no chips, cracks or damage - vibrant colors
