Bavarian Pilot Badge (Silver) & Shoulder Boards Bavaria, Military Pilot Badge, Hst. Karl Pöllath Schrobenhausen 800 Silver (800), hollow-struck and faceted. With maker's mark "Karl Pöllath Schrobenhausen" , Silber. See Carsten Baldes, Badges and Awards of the Air Force from 1913 to 1920. With recipient's mark. Extremely rare award! Also includes two World War I Imperial German Army shoulder boards for the Flieger-Ersatz-Abteilung (Flying Replacement Detachment).The insignia features a red embroidered propeller over a winged device, often representing army aviation units.
