RARE Panoramic Gypsy Tour Negatives 1920s-60s READ The "Gypsy Tour" Rallies: From the 1920s through the 1960s, the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) organized massive, cross-country group rides called Gypsy Tours. Famous Panoramic Imagery: It was a widespread tradition at these rallies to gather hundreds of riders together to take massive, wide-angle panoramic photographs. Here we have 32 original panoramic negative films from these rallies, dated in their paper sleeves. Unfortunately, these had been stored in a garage and the films are stuck together at the edges of the rolls (we did not try to unroll the whole way so as not to damage further). Some look in pretty rough shape, maybe a preservationist can safely unroll and restore these? We were able to view a couple that weren't too damaged. There is also one panoramic photo that is stuck together, shows damage. These would be incredible if someone is able to preserve this piece of history, as having the negatives is very rare. Please see photos for more information regarding condition.
