Hand blown early 19th century late Georgian period French or British clear glass fly or bee catcher / trap. Has applied neck ring with sheered then ground lip. With three small applied feet. With large tooled opening in the base to allow the flies to enter. Nice early bulbous form. Probably dating between 1800 and 1830. Also has correct period glass stopper. Has a few chips around the top rim, a long bubble in the neck that has some dirt in it, and a ring of haze in the bottom. Measures approximately 5 1/2 inches wide x 8 1/4 inches tall to the top of the stopper. We can offer packaging and shipping on this lot to a domestic USA address for $30.
