Antique British pearlware plate. Decorated in the Butterfly Border #4 scene from the Butterfly Border pattern with hand colored highlights in blue and green. Unmarked. Produced by Enoch Wood & Sons. Circa 1818 to 1846. Has crazing typical of earthenware, staining, a discolored crack extending from the edge to the foot rim, a crack through the foot rim, and a crack through the center near the foot rim. Also has a large area that has been chipped off the back. Measures approximately 10 3/8 inches wide. We can offer packaging and shipping on this lot to a domestic USA address for $30.
