Hand painted scene on a cobalt blue egg-shaped porcelain box by Bloch Eichwald. Measures approximately 6 1/4 inches tall and wide and is 8 1/2 inches long. There are some chips on the base and on the inside rim of the bottom and top. Considerable loss of gold. Late 1800s to early 1900s.
