Nice antique Japanese porcelain pearl mold plate with relief molded beading with gold gilding along the edge. Decorated with an ivory, cranberry red, and raised scrollwork and beaded medallion in the center of the plate. Has an ivory border with heavy raised gold floral scrollwork designs and beading, with cranberry red panels with gold gilt overlay. Unmarked, but probably made during the Nippon era of Japanese porcelain, circa 1891 to 1921. Has some wear to the gilding, and a discolored bruise to the foot rim with a small associated chip, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 8 5/8 inches wide.
