Nice antique late 19th century Meiji period Japanese porcelain charger. Decorated with hand painted scenes with red and gold Komainu / guardian lion / foo dog, hawthorn tree, trees and mountains, urn on a table, and other Japanese symbols and flowers in red, grey, cobalt, blue, orange, green, gold, and white enamel. Unmarked. Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 13 inches wide. We can offer packaging and shipping on this lot to a domestic USA address for $40.
