19th century British Samuel Alcock bone china reticulated plate. Decorated with a hand painted abbey ruins landscape scene in the center framed by a wide border of maroon with gold floral scrollwork. Has cream and gold along the edge. With gold highlights to the reticulation and handles. Unmarked except for the pattern number 3018 in puce. Has wear to the gilding and wear consistent with age and use, and a small chip to the back edge. Measures approximately 9 inches wide.
