Antique molded porcelain plate on the Portia blank #12. Nicely decorated with hand painted garlands made up of pink and yellow roses and blue, yellow, and pink small flowers with gold gilt outlines. With a border of deep blue-green with gold gilding along the edge and fancy gold gilt scrollwork , floral and net overlay. Has a central medallion made up over gold gilt floral over deep blue-green, surrounded by fancy gold gilding and hand painted small flowers. Marked on the reverse in green H & Co L France. This is an underglaze whiteware mark used by Haviland & Co in Limoges France between 1888 and 1896. Also marked in red Haviland & Co Limoges. This is an overglaze decorating mark used by Haviland & Co in Limoges France between 1876 and 1930. Has wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks.
