This 2023 Israel Gold Shekel is in Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) condition and contains 1 troy oz of .9999 fine gold. As the 13th issue in the prestigious "Jerusalem of Gold" series, this coin commemorates the Jerusalem Theatre, a premier cultural landmark and architectural treasure of Israel. Obverse: showcases the modern, artistic facade of the Jerusalem Theatre, highlighting its unique stone and concrete elements. The design includes the face value of 20 Shekels, the 2023 year of issue, and the Star of David mintmark. Reverse: features theiconic "Lion of Megiddo," inspired by an ancient 8th-century BCE seal. The roaring lion is surrounded by the Israel State Emblem and the word "Israel" in English, Hebrew, and Arabic.
